I started in media - writing, editing, shaping narratives. That experience gave me something most designers and marketers never fully develop: the discipline of precision. Choosing the right word is the same instinct as choosing the right typeface. Both demand clarity, intention, and the confidence to cut what doesn't belong.

I quickly realised that writing and editing alone wasn't enough - I wanted to shape the whole thing. How a brand looks, how it speaks, how it's felt. To do that properly, I had to understand both communication and the visual side. I moved deeper into brand strategy and marketing, then inevitably into design. Every step came from the same ambition: to master the entire process of building a brand - from concept to execution - without giving up control over any part of it.

My standard today is straightforward: every brand I create has to be flawless on two levels at once - in what it says and in how it looks. Strategy without aesthetics is just a brief. Aesthetics without strategy looks beautiful and does nothing. What I do connects the two - and that's what makes the brands I work with recognisable.

I operate on a principle that sounds almost old-fashioned in the age of MVP: that compromising on quality isn't efficiency - it's a lack of respect for your own work. I pair that with a deep knowledge of modern tools and the ability to implement them. AI is part of that toolkit - but only part of it. My decisions are driven by intuition and knowledge built over years, not by what a language model suggests. AI is most valuable in the hands of someone who can already tell the difference between good and truly exceptional. Without that foundation, it's just confident noise.
